“Wow, you are much younger than I expected!” This I hear quite often. That's because when I tell people I've been in the business since 1988, they expect, well, more gray hair. Frankly, I wish I had gray hair, but that's a different story altogether.

The fact of the matter is that I earned my Real Estate License when I was 18 years old, then went back to school and earned my Brokers License by the age of 20. Starting as early as I did allowed me to hone my people, business and real estate skills in ways that other local agents can never compete with.

Business History

Originally licensed in 1988 at the age of 18, I began my real estate career at Century 21 in Walnut Creek, CA. Went on to become one of California's youngest Real Estate Brokers by the age of 20. By 1992, I had earned the status of Top Century 21 Agent for N. California and Nevada. In 2007, in addition to being a Luxury Home & Estate specialists, I was recognized as the Top Listing Agent for Keller Williams Realty East Bay. In 2024, I was awarded the #1 Individual Producing Agent for Compass Walnut Creek. In 2025, I was again awarded as a Top Individual Producing Agent for Compass Walnut Creek, and recognized as Top 1.5% in sales volume nationwide.

Fueling my entrepreneurial spirit by the age of 34, I founded Bay Area Realty in 2003, an independent brokerage that was consistently one of the Bay Area's top producing independent real estate brokerages through 2019. With nearly 4 decades of experience, including owning and managing my own firm, I offer my clients unique market insights and a comprehensive approach to buying and selling throughout the entire Bay Area.

Personal Background

Born in Oakland and raised in Clayton, I've been married for 20+ years to my beautiful wife, Laura, whom I met when she was my home warranty representative! We have two children, Adam, 22, currently attending the University of Oregon and Alli, 19, currently enrolled at CU Boulder in Colorado.

When my wife and I are not discussing real estate or parenting, we enjoy Lake Tahoe and all that it offers outdoor enthusiasts like us.

I have created a career out of my real estate passions. Every buying and selling opportunity is a chance to demonstrate my personal dedication and acumen. Another passion of mine is animal rescue. Having adopted dogs in the past, and as an advocate for animal rescue foundations, I am thrilled to support animal rescue charities throughout the entire Bay Area.
